We begin a new unit in art: abstract art.

Kandinsky was an special artist that turned music into colours. We wanted to express his feelings throug colour, shape and line. Here you have a beautiful video about this:

We have been working with textures these days and at the end of the unit we made a collage.

The collage was about dressing "La Maja" the famous painting from Goya.

When all the works were finished I selected nine in each class:

 

Then I asked my students to vote for the two favourites in each classroom and this is the result:
